The Twin Rivers Community Choir is proud to give back to the community in various ways during our two seasons of song:
We are very pleased to report that two ongoing awards have been established—a bursary for a Selkirk College voice student enrolled in their music program, and a scholarship for a student at Castlegar's Stanley Humphries High School who intends to pursue music as a vocation. This is a wonderful ongoing legacy of support by our choir.
Although our concerts and other public performances are currently suspended, under normal circumstances the Choir is proud to donate a portion of our concert ticket sales to the local food bank. As well, we support the Castlegar Community Children’s Choir both with donations, and through guest appearances at our concerts.
Finally, we look forward to resuming our performances at various community functions and facilities, such as Castlewood Village, the Sunfest Rotary pancake breakfast, and Music in the Park.
